ANDEMOS LATINO

Andemos Latino is a competitive, six-week volunteer program for passionate Latin Americans between 20 and 30 years old. Selected interns will work as part of the team in one of Paz y Esperanza’s offices in Peru or Ecuador in their specific field of interest and experience.

Who?

Latin American young adults between 20 and 30 years old.

What?

A service-learning internship with experienced staff in one of the following areas: law, psychology, research and development, environment, children’s home care assistant, social work, theology, communication, advocacy, and education. Find out more in Internship Opportunities.

Where?

One of Paz y Esperanza’s offices and/or project sites in Peru or Ecuador. Learn more about where we work in Places.

When?

The application process runs from July to October.

Andemos Latino volunteers must be available to serve from January to March. 

How
much?

As part of the Andemos Latino program, the following expenses are covered by the program: housing, basic food, transportation as part of participation in the program (does not include travel to and from country of origin), orientation and evaluation courses, administrative costs, and visa application and fees (as applies).

Where
will
we stay?

The Andemos team will arrange safe housing accommodations for each volunteer that is close to the place of work, and preferably with a host family.
