Types of volunteer programs
ANDEMOS Youth
ANDEMOS Youth is our volunteer program designed specifically for youth between the ages of 18 and 30. Within this program we offer two types of experiences:

Short term
This option includes trips between one and five weeks and requires a minimum team size of 5. These trips will generally be available in January, February, March, June, July, August, September and October. We will, however, consider different dates if your church, ministry or organization proposes a date. The dates are subjet to change according to each of the hosting office’s work plans.
The short term teams will generally support projects that are already underway in countries like Perú, Ecuador and Bolivia in actions such as public campaigns in favor of children´s or women's rights (child abuse and domestic violence prevention), housing repairs for the elderly and widows affected by the armed conflict, recreational activities with abandoned children, small scale construction support with indigenous communities, assisting rural communities with farming projects, visiting local churches to support their discipleship or worship projects, etc.
Long term
Our long term option requires a greater commitment (between 5 and 12 months) from our volunteers. These young people will generally be students or recent graduates who are interested in gaining work and life experience, but we’re also open to people with work experience who are interested in investing their gained experience to benefit the least protected of our societies.

We receive volunteers on set dates (generally in July or January). If you are interested in coming, please write us for more information on application and project starting dates for upcoming opportunities.
The incoming group of long term volunteers will start off with an orientation and each volunteer will have an advisor who will help him or her evaluate progress and make adjustments wherever necessary. There will also be a debrief activity partway through and at the end of the volunteer’s commitment.
The volunteer’s contribution is very important, but ANDEMOS also desires to invest in each volunteer as well. Each volunteer will become part of the Paz y Esperanza (or other partner organization) team in Peru, Ecuador or Bolivia.
ANDEMOS strives towards maintaining a multicultural representation among the long-term volunteers. Volunteers serving simultaneously will likely represent the US and Europe alongside representatives from South America. This cultural diversity among our teams is an outstanding strength among our teams that contributes to the richness of each volunteer’s experience.
ANDEMOS Together

ANDEMOS Together is a short term volunteer program for adults of a variety of ages (18 or older). We receive groups from churches, organizations, missions, etc who are interested in volunteering for up to 6 weeks. This is an opportunity for adults of all ages to give their time and energy for a good cause.
These trips will generally be available in January, February, March, June, July, August, September and October. We are, however, open to considering other dates pending availability of projects in the cities where we work.
